What is a Prompt URL?
A Prompt URL (or PromptURL) is a special link that opens an AI chatbot with your prompt already pre-filled. Instead of copying and pasting your prompt, you or others can click one link to start a conversation instantly.
Which AI chatbots are supported?
The tool generates pre-filled URLs for ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI (Gemini), Grok, and Perplexity. Each platform uses its own URL format, and our tool handles the encoding automatically.
Do I need to be logged in to use these links?
Yes. When someone clicks a generated link, they will be taken to the AI service. If they are not logged in, they will be prompted to sign in first. After signing in, the prompt will typically be pre-filled (depending on the platform).
Is there a character limit for prompts?
Yes. We limit prompts to 4,000 characters and 500 words to ensure URLs work reliably. Some AI platforms may have their own limits (e.g., ChatGPT supports up to 6,000 characters).
What is the shareable PromptURL link?

Are special characters and emojis supported?
Yes. The tool automatically URL-encodes your prompt, so special characters, spaces, and most Unicode characters (including emojis) will work correctly in the generated links.
Do these links work on mobile?
Yes. The generated links open in the browser. On mobile, they will typically open the AI service in the browser or prompt the user to open the corresponding app if installed.
