Is it really 50/50
A plain Yes / No wheel carries one slice of each, so both answers have the same chance on every spin. Custom slices change those odds on purpose, when you want one answer to come up more often.
One spin or best of three
A single spin can feel too final when the answer is not the one you wanted. Best of three runs until an answer wins twice, and keeps the score in front of you.
A wheel or a coin flip
A coin gives the same two-way answer with less ceremony. The wheel shows the result to a whole room, holds a "Maybe", and keeps a tally of what came up before. For the plain version, flip a coin instead.
Not for serious decisions
A random answer suits small choices, games and ties nobody minds losing. Money, health, safety and legal questions need real information instead.

How does a yes or no generator work?
Every spin picks one slice at random, so a plain Yes / No wheel gives each answer the same chance. Nothing is decided before the wheel stops.
Can I get an answer without spinning the wheel?
"Just tell me" gives the answer straight away, with no animation. The wheel still lands on it, so you can see where the answer came from.
What is the difference between the presets?
"Yes / No" is a simple 50/50 wheel. "Yes / No / Maybe" adds a third outcome for when a plain yes or no does not fit. "Custom slices" lets you set how many yes and no slices you want, so you can weight the odds.
Can I make "yes" more likely than "no"?
Yes, switch to "Custom slices" and set a higher number of Yes slices than No slices (2 to 10 each). More slices for an outcome means a higher chance of landing on it.
How does best of three work?
The round runs until one answer has won twice, and the score is shown as you spin. Agree on the rule before the first spin, so nobody changes it after an unwanted answer.
Can I share the answer with someone?
"Copy result link" gives you a link that carries your question and the answer. Whoever opens it sees both, and can spin again themselves.
Can I use it on a classroom screen or a stream?
Yes. Full screen makes the wheel fill the display, and the sound switch adds a tick while it spins and a chime on the answer.
Is the outcome really random?
Yes. The wheel spins with a random duration and rotation each time, and the result is read from where the wheel actually stops, not picked ahead of time.
Does the tool save or share my answers?
No, everything happens locally in your browser. The results history lasts for your current session, and a result link you copy carries the question and answer in the link itself, not on a server.
