# Moving steps to a position
The Move step to action opens a dialog where you can type a position number. This is useful when you need to reorder steps in a large guide without dragging.
# Reordering by drag and drop
You can also reorder steps by dragging them in the steps list. Drag a step up or down to change its position, or drag it under another step to make it a substep.
